Louisville's Spring Carnival

A significant part of my Vision for this new chapter in Recherche's life is to be actively involved in the community. Today was a perfect opportunity! We volunteered to shoot the annual Kid's Spring Carnival hosted by the American Legion right around the corner from the studio. It is a free event for all families and there was boatloads of Easter candy, games and prizes.

Judy, on the left, has made this event happen every year. And her sister, on the right, made the bunny costume and is the mother of the bunny!

I'm so excited to be right downtown in the historic part of Louisville! They have the most wonderful events planned all year long, starting June 9th: The Taste of Louisville! As we're on Main Street, we're planning to have a big booth on the sidewalk in front of the studio and will be doing costume portraits! Plan to come down!
