Our New Postcard!

Let's take a moment to reflect on the diverse skills of Juli Dimos. She is the Recherché studio web designer, graphic design artist, and Associate Photographer. Talented, technical, creative and capable! She is also a mother of two little girls! Can you say "multi-task?" I can't because I'm typing. Not good at doing more than one thing at a time.

Here is the latest postcard she just designed. I wanted a piece that showed the new studio so people start recognizing the little red house on Main Street and associate happy thoughts with it. I think this card is totally rad!

Louisville's Spring Carnival

A significant part of my Vision for this new chapter in Recherche's life is to be actively involved in the community. Today was a perfect opportunity! We volunteered to shoot the annual Kid's Spring Carnival hosted by the American Legion right around the corner from the studio. It is a free event for all families and there was boatloads of Easter candy, games and prizes.

I'm so excited to be right downtown in the historic part of Louisville! They have the most wonderful events planned all year long, starting June 9th: The Taste of Louisville! As we're on Main Street, we're planning to have a big booth on the sidewalk in front of the studio and will be doing costume portraits! Plan to come down! Holly's First Birthday

I've been documenting this little lady's life since the beginning! I love being such a permanent fixture in my clients' lives!! And today Holly's First Birthday was celebrated with balloons and a newly renovated home! She could not have been any cuter in her little Easter dress! She is in the most adorable phase right now and I cannot get enough of her!! Camper, however, is not quite so sure about those balloons...

Hurrah for daddies!!!

Rowan Long

This little guy was born just this last January! I was so excited to meet him! I photographed his parents' wedding in the middle of the WinterPark woods- in February of last year! Quite the chilly adventure! I was happy to be doing Rowan's first professional portraits at 72 degrees in the new studio!
